Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Lewisburg, TN
Hours: Full Time, 35 Hours per Week
Work Schedule: August 1st, 2024 - May 20th, 2025
Caseload: Approximately 50-55 students
Age Group: Primarily Elementary (2nd Grade - 12th Grade)
Setting: Onsite Only
Case Types: Variety from Mild to Moderate, with some Severe Cases
Support: No SLPA
Job Details:
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Support: Provide high-quality speech-language therapy services to a diverse group of students from 2nd grade to 12th grade, with a focus on elementary students.
- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough evaluations to identify speech and language disorders and develop individualized therapy plans to meet students' needs.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy into the educational environment and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- IEP Meeting Participation: Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to review student progress and update goals.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensure: Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Tennessee.
- Experience: Experience in a school setting preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply.
