Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a full-time or part-time position in La Marque, TX? We have an exciting opportunity available for the 2024-2025 school year, starting August 15, 2024, and ending May 30, 2025. This role involves providing essential speech therapy services to elementary students in a vibrant school setting.
Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: La Marque, TX
Caseload: Elementary students
Duration: Full-Time or Part-Time, August 15, 2024 - May 30, 2025
Hours: Onsite Only
Caseload Size: 40-50 students
Duties: General SLP duties
SLPA or CF: Not applicable
Role Overview:
- Position: Full-time or part-time role providing direct speech therapy services.
- Caseload: Work with elementary students.
- Focus: Deliver individualized therapy to support students' speech and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Therapy Services: Deliver therapy sessions tailored to each student's needs.
- Assessment & Planning: Conduct assessments and develop therapy plans.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' educational plans.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and student progress.
Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensure: Texas SLP license and PEL with Communications Disorders (P-12).
- Experience: Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates or CCC-SLPs are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with students.
Note: No SLPA or CF supervision required.
