We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Flemington, NJ. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' lives by providing speech and language services in a supportive educational environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and diagnostic tests for students to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students with various speech and language needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to develop strategies for supporting students' speech and language development.
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students on an individual or group basis.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress tracking.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Provide guidance and support to parents and teachers in implementing strategies to improve communication skills in the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New Jersey.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
