ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Huntington, NY for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time role involves working directly with students to support their speech and language development in a collaborative educational setting. Position Details:
- Full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week)
- Elementary and middle school caseload
- Supportive multidisciplinary team
- Start date: ASAP – End date: End of school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy sessions for students with speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to ensure student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
- Adapt therapy techniques to support a variety of student needs
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- New York SLP license required
- ASHA CCCs preferred, but Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Experience in a school setting is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
