About the Position:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Grand Blanc, MI. This position focuses on working with K-12 students with cognitive impairments, helping them develop essential communication skills.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Full-time
- Caseload: K-12th grade students with cognitive impairments
Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations to determine speech and language needs
- Create and execute individualized therapy plans based on student goals
- Provide therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and school staff to foster a supportive environment
- Keep detailed records of therapy sessions and progress reports
Qualifications:
- Active Michigan SLP license
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience with cognitively impaired caseloads preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
