We are currently hiring a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Felton, DE. This role provides an opportunity to work directly with students to improve their speech and language skills, helping them succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide direct therapy services, including articulation, fluency, voice, language, and social communication interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings to set appropriate goals and track student progress.
- Document therapy sessions, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Delaware SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain one.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
