Job Description:
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Cupertino, CA. In this school-based position, you will work with students who have various speech and language needs, helping them to develop effective communication skills and achieve their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students’ speech and language disorders through standardized testing and observations.
- Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment strategies tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Provide direct therapy services in one-on-one and group settings, focusing on improving articulation, language comprehension, and social communication.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to provide comprehensive support and resources for students.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to multidisciplinary teams.
- Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid California state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a school setting is beneficial, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
