Job Description:
Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a dynamic school district in Charleston, SC. This is a full-time position where the SLP will work closely with students, teachers, and families to provide effective speech and language therapy services. The ideal candidate is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with communication challenges and enjoys working in a collaborative educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs) to address students' communication needs.
- Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students' educational and communication goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student plans.
- Maintain records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid South Carolina state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
