Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Cary, IL for the 2024-2025 school year. This role involves working with students in K-8 with a variety of speech and language needs, including mild articulation and language delays, as well as students with developmental delays and Autism. The position offers a supportive work environment with opportunities to collaborate with staff and families.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: K-8 students
- Duration: August 19, 2024 – May 30, 2025 (if no snow days)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and track student progress
- Use communication tools such as TouchChat for students with non-verbal communication needs
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Illinois SLP license or eligibility
- Clinical Fellows welcome to apply
- Experience working with students with mild speech and language delays or developmental disabilities is a plus
