Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position - Amherst, NY
ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a welcoming school district in Amherst, NY. This part-time position is perfect for either a CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow (CF) looking to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills and academic success.
Position Details:
- Role: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Location: Amherst, NY
- Schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week
- Duration: 2024-2025 school year
- Caseload: Details discussed during the interview
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student goals.
- Provide direct therapy services in group and individual settings.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress and provide input during IEP meetings.
Qualifications:
- Active New York SLP license (required).
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
