Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Sandy, OR
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Oregon State Licensure
Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Sandy, OR. This full-time position is based in a school setting, where you will provide speech and language therapy to students with a variety of communication needs. As an SLP, you will work closely with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans, helping students to achieve their full potential in communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students’ needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Track student progress and modify therapy plans as needed to ensure continued improvement.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create a comprehensive support network for students.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of speech and language goals.
- Offer professional guidance to parents and staff regarding speech and language development.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Oregon State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Previous school-based experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passionate about helping students achieve their communication goals.
