Job Title: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Salem, NH (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-Time
Position Overview:
As a full-time onsite SLP, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapy to students with speech and language needs. You will collaborate with a team of educators, administrators, and parents to ensure each student’s success and address their individual communication challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop individualized therapy plans based on student needs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to incorporate therapy goals into classroom activities.
- Monitor and document student progress and make necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to developing goals.
- Communicate regularly with parents and families to update on progress and suggest home strategies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current New Hampshire state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Compassionate and committed to supporting students’ communication and educational development.
