Job Description: Soliant is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in McClellan, CA, providing therapy and support for students in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will work with K-12 students, assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders to help them succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students in K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students based on their specific needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and parents to monitor progress and ensure effective interventions.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and therapy sessions.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for services.
- Stay up to date with current practices, regulations, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active California SLP License (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
- Passion for helping students reach their full potential.
