Job Description:
Join our dedicated team as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Reno, NV! We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SLP to provide therapy and support to students with diverse communication needs. You’ll work within the school setting to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans, making a positive impact on students' ability to succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Design and implement customized therapy plans targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
- Deliver therapy sessions in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support each student's progress.
- Maintain accurate records, track student progress, and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- State licensure as an SLP in Nevada.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
