Job Summary:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an elementary school team in Puritan, Colorado. This full-time role (37 hours per week) will focus on providing speech and language therapy to K-5 students, addressing a range of speech disorders such as articulation, fluency, and language delays. You will work closely with students, staff, and families to create and implement individualized plans that support students' academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students, focusing on articulation, fluency, language disorders, and other speech-related challenges.
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, specialists, and parents.
- Track and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy techniques as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams to ensure each student’s goals are met.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Colorado SLP License (required)
- Experience working with elementary school children preferred, but not required
