Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity in Portland, ME
We are looking for a caring and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Portland, Maine. This is a rewarding position where you will have the opportunity to support students with speech and language challenges, helping them excel both academically and socially.
Position Details:
- Location: Portland, ME
- Employment Type: Full-time, contract, on-site in a school setting
- Hourly Rate: $43 - $50+ per hour, depending on experience
- Schedule: Full-time, during regular school hours
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed assessments of students' speech and language skills.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide guidance to teachers and families on how to support speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license and ASHA certification (CCC’s).
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred.
