Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position in Modesto, CA
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Modesto, CA. This role provides an exciting opportunity to support students with speech and language challenges, fostering their academic and social development.
Position Overview:
- Location: Modesto, CA
- Employment Type: Full-time, contract, on-site at a school
- Compensation: $43 - $50+ per hour, depending on experience
- Work Schedule: Full-time, during standard school hours
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of students' speech and language abilities
- Create and implement individualized therapy plans to meet each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to provide integrated support
- Track and monitor student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Offer guidance to educators and families on strategies to support speech and language development
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license and ASHA certification (CCC’s)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
