Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Pine Bluff, AR. This school-based position will focus on assessing and treating students with speech and language disorders, helping them achieve their communication goals and succeed academically.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to discuss student progress and strategies.
- Educate staff and families on techniques to reinforce speech and language skills outside of therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Arkansas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
