Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Oxnard, CA
Job Details:
- Type: Full-time
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Start Date: August 2024
- End Date: June 2025
- Caseload: K-8th grade
- Number of Positions: 5 available
- Work Setting: In-person only
Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address various communication disorders.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions, collaborating with teachers and families to enhance students' learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and monitor student progress.
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Caseload Information:
- Students Served: Kindergarten through 8th grade
- Approximately 50-60 students per SLP
- Para support available
- Multiple schools within the district
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certifications: CCC-SLP or CF-SLP
- Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- New graduates welcomed and supported in their professional development.
