Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Jackson, NC. The SLP/SLPA will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, helping them develop essential speech and language skills. This role involves creating individualized treatment plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with educators and families.
Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

Provide direct therapy services to students
-
Educate families, caregivers, and educators on speech and language strategies

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress

Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support student success
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLP) or Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (for SLPA)

North Carolina State SLP or SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain)

Previous experience in a school setting is preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
