Job Description:
Soliant is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school district in Lincoln, RI. In this role, you will provide speech therapy services to students with communication disorders, assisting them in improving their speech, language, and social communication skills. You will work alongside teachers and other staff to help students meet their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students with speech and language disorders (SLP role).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (SLP role).
- Provide direct therapy services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and IEP goals.
- Support and assist in therapy sessions (SLPA role).
Requirements for SLP:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Rhode Island state licensure as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience in a school-based setting is a plus.
Requirements for SLPA:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Rhode Island state licensure as an SLPA.
- Prior experience working with students is preferred.
