Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) / Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Milford, MA. In these roles, you will work collaboratively to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
For SLP:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy to clients and monitor their progress.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records.
For SLPA:
- Assist SLPs in implementing treatment plans and therapy sessions.
- Conduct screenings and document client progress.
- Prepare materials and resources for therapy activities.
Requirements:
For SLP:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Massachusetts State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
For SLPA:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Current certification or licensure as an SLPA in Massachusetts.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
