Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities to identify challenges and strengths.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication development and academic achievement.
- Provide training and resources to school staff and families on strategies to support students' speech and language needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Georgia state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
