Job Description:
As an SLP with Blazer Jobs, you'll provide exceptional support to students, working closely with educators and families to deliver impactful speech and language services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide language therapy to strengthen students’ ability to follow directions and answer questions.
- Administer academic assessments and present findings during IEP meetings.
- Oversee paraprofessional support and ensure effective scheduling and IEP implementation.
- Maintain organized records in compliance with federal, state, and SELPA regulations.
- Collaborate with educators to develop literacy skills, focusing on letter-sound connections and vocabulary.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field.
- Active ASHA certification and New Mexico state SLP licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an SLP.
- Strong passion for helping students thrive.
