Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity - Saint Johns, MI

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the school team in Saint Johns, Michigan. This part-time position (2-3 days per week) will run from April 14, 2025, to June 20, 2025. The SLP will work with students across the district, providing speech and language services to support their communication development. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to design effective intervention strategies.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting goals and services as needed.
- Attend IEP meetings and provide valuable feedback on student progress.
- Offer guidance and strategies to staff and families to support students' communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license (LARA) required.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Previous experience working with students in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of IEP development and speech therapy practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
