Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. The successful candidate will work full-time with students from Pre-K through 3rd grade, providing comprehensive speech and language services. This position is based in Shiloh, IL, conveniently located near St. Louis, MO.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language impairments.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational goals.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and needs.
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and continuing education requirements.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure in Illinois or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged children is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
