ProCare Therapy is excited to announce a part-time opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Amherst, NY. Whether you’re a seasoned CCC-SLP or a motivated Clinical Fellow (CF), this position offers the chance to work in a supportive school environment, helping students achieve their communication goals.
Position Overview:
- Role: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Location: Amherst, NY
- Schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week
- Caseload: Details to be discussed during the interview
- Duration: 2024-2025 school year
Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs.
- Design and deliver effective therapy plans tailored to individual student goals.
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student development.
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings to share insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Active New York SLP license (required).
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is a plus.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
