Job Description: Soliant Education is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide exceptional services to students in Pontiac, MI. This full-time contract position spans the entire school year, offering a rewarding opportunity to support and enhance student communication skills within a dynamic and collaborative educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other relevant school activities.
- Utilize the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology to inform therapy.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Michigan state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
