Speech-Language Pathologist Position - School Based near White Hall, MD
Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a position at a school district near White Hall, MD. This opportunity is available for the current school year and is open to either full time or part time contractors. The selected SLPs will be essential in providing speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and state standards
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' communication skills and develop personalized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress and achievement
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other pertinent records
- Adapt therapy techniques and interventions to meet the diverse needs of students across grade levels
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Maryland SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a diverse student population
