Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opening near Omaha, NE
Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an opening within a school district. This position may be full-time or part-time depending on the candidate’s preferences. The selected SLP will play a vital role in supporting students with communication challenges and contributing to their overall development and success in the classroom.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings and assist in the development of appropriate goals.
- Provide training and support to teachers and staff regarding communication strategies.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in a school setting preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of IEP processes and requirements.
- Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of students.
