Description: Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? Join our team as a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA! We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide exceptional speech and language services to our diverse student population.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine students' speech and language needs
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Providing direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting intervention strategies as needed
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication goals
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- California state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
