Location: New Rochelle, NY
Position: 30 Hours per Week (Hourly Contract)
Contract Duration: Remainder of the 2024-2025 School Year (with potential for renewal based on performance)
Soliant Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in New Rochelle, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a supportive school community and make a positive impact on students’ lives.
Position Overview:
- Hours: 30 hours per week
- Schedule: Flexible, based on school needs
- Duration: Immediate start, through the remainder of the current school year, with the possibility of contract renewal based on performance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students with various speech and communication disorders
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and IEP meetings as required
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Monitor and track student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation for each student
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid NYS Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- ASHA certification, or CFY year
- Prior school-based experience is a plus, but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
