Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in New London, NC. The SLP will work with patients of all ages to diagnose, treat, and manage speech, language, and communication disorders. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment and therapeutic skills, as well as a commitment to improving patients' communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on patient needs.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to enhance communication skills.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to support patient progress.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and exercises.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in North Carolina.
- Previous experience in a clinical or school setting preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
