Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Washington, PA. This full-time, onsite position is based in an elementary school, where you will work closely with young students to address their speech and language needs. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about making a positive impact on students' communication skills and overall academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary school students with a variety of needs.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students' specific needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to monitor and support student progress.
- Track and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active SLP license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Compassionate and patient, with a focus on helping students succeed.
Hours:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
