Job Description:
We are actively seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and work with elementary students in Davison, MI. The SLP will play a key role in identifying, assessing, and treating speech, language, and communication challenges, providing support that enables students to thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify speech and language needs among elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct therapy sessions in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student success
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to setting realistic goals
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Michigan SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
