Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a full-time position for the 2024/2025 school year, covering 1-2 buildings with in a 2 minute radius.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Indiana.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 80 students.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Information:
- This position does not accept SLP Assistants (SLPAs).
- The role involves working in one to two buildings within the district.
