Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Morris Plains, NJ. In this role, you will provide essential speech and language therapy services to students in a school-based setting, helping them develop the skills needed for academic success and personal growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SLP or a Clinical Fellow (CF) to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students with communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and student needs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ educational and developmental goals.
- Monitor student progress, adjust therapy plans as needed, and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
- Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to the development of individualized goals for students.
- Provide guidance to parents and school staff on strategies to enhance speech and language development.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- New Jersey State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children and helping them succeed in school and life.
