Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Milton, FL. The SLP will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, and communication disorders, helping them achieve their full academic potential. Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, communication, and fluency disorders.
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students, using evidence-based techniques.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on speech and language goals.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and report on outcomes.
- Provide training and resources to school staff and families to support student communication needs in the classroom and at home.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Florida state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
