Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Milford, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and providing therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders, helping them to thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on students' needs and goals.
- Provide therapy services to students in both one-on-one and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on therapy goals and student development.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and adapt treatment plans as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid New Jersey SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
