Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Methuen, MA. In this school-based role, you will work with students of various ages to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. Your work will involve creating and implementing individualized therapy plans to improve students’ communication skills, ensuring their success in the academic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to evaluate students' communication skills.
- Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to students with speech, language, and communication difficulties.
- Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings to establish appropriate goals and objectives for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ overall development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Massachusetts licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred but not required for Clinical Fellows (CF).
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
