Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Mesa, AZ
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Arizona State Licensure
Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Mesa, AZ. This position involves providing speech and language therapy services in a school-based setting, helping students improve their communication skills and succeed academically. We are seeking someone passionate about making a difference in students’ lives and committed to providing high-quality therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess communication abilities and needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans for students.
- Provide direct therapy to students individually and in small groups.
- Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy goals as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies for supporting students’ communication development.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students’ speech and language goals.
- Offer consultation and resources to staff and families regarding speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid licensure in the state of Arizona as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply.
- Experience working in a school or pediatric setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a passion for helping students succeed.
