Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Maternity Leave Coverage - Wakefield, MA
We are actively seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Wakefield, MA, for a temporary maternity leave coverage position. This role is perfect for a dedicated professional ready to make a positive impact in an elementary school setting.
Position Details:
- Location: Wakefield, Massachusetts
- Coverage Duration: Mid-September through early December
- Hours: 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- Caseload: Elementary level students, focusing on enhancing communication skills and supporting individual learning needs
- Pay Rate: Starting at $42+ per hour, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities:

Therapy Services: Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students, addressing various communication disorders and supporting individualized education plans (IEPs).

Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement effective strategies that support student success in the classroom and beyond.

Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs, create treatment plans, and monitor progress to adjust interventions as necessary.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough records of student progress, therapy sessions, and any necessary communication with parents and school staff.

Qualifications:

Licensure: Must hold a current and active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Massachusetts.
