ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024-25 school year in Mahanoy City, PA. This is a full-time, contracted position within the educational sector, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students' educational goals.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates.
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
