Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Lincoln, PA (School-Based)
Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Lincoln, PA. This role involves working within a school environment, providing essential speech and language therapy services to students in need. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to improving communication skills to support students' educational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Perform speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders.
- Create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that address each student’s unique needs.
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to address issues related to articulation, phonology, fluency, voice, and language.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to create an integrated approach to student success.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on students' communication development.
- Educate staff and family members on effective communication strategies and techniques to help support student progress outside of therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Pennsylvania state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred; however, Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working in school-based settings is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
