Position Overview: We're seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in the Bronx, NY, as an hourly contractor through Soliant Education. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating communication disorders, helping students achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student needs.
- Provide speech therapy services to students, both individually and in groups, on an hourly basis.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Document therapy sessions and student progress accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and professional development activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in New York.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong understanding of speech therapy principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Dedication to meeting the diverse needs of students.
