Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Kerman, CA. This school-based position involves working with students of various age groups to provide speech and language therapy, helping them overcome communication barriers and improve their educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop strategies that support students' language development.
- Monitor and document progress towards therapy goals, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to the development of goals and strategies for students.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with children, families, and other professionals.
