Position Overview:
We are excited to announce a full-time opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist at a K-4 school in Gorton, MA. Starting mid-to-late November, this position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact through the end of the school year in June. The role includes an estimated caseload of 30 students, plus evaluations. You’ll have the flexibility to collaborate with a transitioning SLP to ensure a seamless handover for each student.
Key Details:
- Start Date: November 18 (with some flexibility for transition)
- End Date: End of School Year in June
- Hours: 8:40 AM - 3:40 PM, Monday to Friday
- Caseload: Approximately 30 K-4 students, plus ongoing evaluations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that cater to each student’s needs
- Coordinate with teachers, families, and school staff to create a supportive environment for all students
- Track progress, document treatment, and adjust plans as needed to support ongoing development
Qualifications:
- Licensed SLP in Massachusetts
- Experience with elementary school students preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
