About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a short-term assignment at a school in Lockport, IL. The SLP will assess and treat students with speech, language, and communication challenges to ensure they receive the necessary support during the assignment period.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement short-term therapy plans to address students' needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to improve communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
- Complete necessary documentation and reports for the duration of the assignment.
- Attend IEP meetings and provide input on student progress.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Illinois SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Previous experience in school-based settings (preferred).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
