Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team. This role involves providing speech and language therapy to students, conducting assessments, and developing individualized education programs (IEPs). While experience in a school setting is preferred, Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
- Create and implement personalized treatment plans and IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication needs.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
- Keep accurate and timely records of services provided.
- Attend IEP meetings and help set educational goals for students.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- State licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred but not required for CF applicants.
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
