Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity in Olympia, WA
Position Overview:
- Location: Olympia School District (Services provided at New Horizon School, 1111 S. Carr Rd., Renton, WA 98055)
- Pay Range: $45–$50 per hour, based on experience
- Start Date: Immediate
- End Date: June 17, 2025
- Work Type: Onsite Only
Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to support a student at New Horizon School. This role involves providing targeted services to address the student’s specific communication needs, emphasizing:
- Social cognition
- Social language
- Social problem-solving
- Emotional regulation
Responsibilities:
- Therapy Services:
- Deliver 15 minutes of speech therapy weekly (potentially doubling sessions to compensate for missed services earlier this year).
- Administrative Duties:
- Allocate 30 minutes weekly for planning and preparation.
- Complete quarterly progress notes (30 minutes each for four remaining quarters, including ESY).
- IEP Support:
- Dedicate up to 3 hours for IEP development and meetings.
